Robert Atlass, AHC
Robert Atlass is a third generation product of the door
opening industry, having learned the business from the
bottom up; sweeping floors, keying locks, and unloading
trucks. His family's legacy and his experience gives
Robert an appreciation for every aspect of the business.
After graduating from the University of Miami in 1981,
Robert continued his education by taking numerous
courses from the Door and Hardware Institute,

father, Alvin, built Acme Builders Supply into one of
the top door and hardware distributors, which made Acme
a prime acquisition target. They sold Acme in 1999 to
the Hardware Corporation of America. In August 2001,
Robert opened Atlass Hardware Corporation, building this

success: quality, reliability, honesty, knowledge and
service to his customers.
